Sometimes the web brings you to the Piegan Pass Trail Sign Page instead of the Piegan Pass Trail page so follow this link to the Piegan Pass Trail page.

Piegan Pass hiker sign
Siyeh Bend Cut Off Trail is the trail junction for more hikes then listed above.
The 'Trail' sign shown below is at the start of the Siyeh Cut Off Trail which ends at the junction with the Piegan Pass Trail. If you follow the Piegan Pass Trail towards Piegan Pass it will intersect with the Siyeh Pass Trail at Preston Park..
When your hiking in Glacier National Park & you don't see a trail sign within a few hundred feet of the start of your hike then most likely your on a goat trail and not a maintained park trail. I've hiked in a lot of National Parks and of the parks that I have hiked Glacier Park has the best trail signs & the most reliably maintained trails. This doesn't mean that there are no errors or omissions on the trail signs.
The Piegan Pass Trail sign shown below is missing a reference for Piegan Pass! At this sign take a left to go to Piegan Pass & Siyeh Pass Trail. All the trails mentioned on this page travel on the left fork.
The Piegan Pass Trail sign shown below is at the split between Siyeh Pass Trail & Piegan Pass Trail. Siyeh Pass Trail goes to the right, The Piegan Pass Trail continues straight ahead & the Preston Park Trail essentially ends here.
At the Trailhead the sign refers to Many Glacier Hotel, here the sign refers to Grinnell Glacier Trailhead this can be a little bit confusing but essentially they are the same location.
There are no more signs on the Piegan Pass Trail until you cross over the continental divide and pass Feather Plume Falls. This sign shown below appears to have been recovered after the 2006 floods. Since this sign is close to Feather Plume Falls I mistakenly assumed that Feather Plume Falls was Morning Eagle Falls. I will be adding Feather Plume Falls to my list of Easy Hikes from Many Glacier. Feather Plume Falls while not the tallest in Glacier Park is the most spectacular falls that is accessible by an easy hike.
At this point I took the Grinnell Lake Trail instead of the Piegan Pass Trail. I choose to hike along three lakes instead of hiking through dense forests. It's your choice. If you want to catch Glacier Boat at Lake Josephine you need to take the Grinnell Lake Trail.

Trail sign shown below from Grinnell Lake shore to Lake Josephine boat dock
This trail restricted to hikers, there is a horse trail from Many Glacier Hotel to Grinnell Lake that ends near this point. From this point to the boat dock on Lake Josephine is a heavily travelled trail.

End of the line if you take the boats, two lakes, two boats, back to Many Glacier Hotel. Note: If you take the South Shore Trail it is 2.2 miles to Many Glacier Hotel if you take the North Shore Trail it is 2.7 miles back to Many Glacier Hotel. It's more scenic on the North Shore Trail.
This can be a very active bear corridor!
