There are several ways to get to Grinnell Lake, hike along Swiftcurrent Lake from Many Glacier Hotel, then take the short path connecting the two lakes. At that point you can choose between the North or South Shore Trails on Lake Josephine. Once you get to the boat dock at the end of Lake Josephine it's 0.9 miles to Grinnell Lake.
The second method is to take a ride on Glacier Boat, the first dock is at Many Glacier Hotel. Check with the boat crews as Glacier Park offers guided hikes to Grinnell Lake that start at Many Glacier Hotel at the boat dock.
The third way to get to Grinnell Lake is the Piegan Pass Trail from Siyeh Bend on the Going to the Sun Road. The Piegan Pass Trail is a strenuous hike across the continental divide.
